Maternity and newborn sessions are some of the most important sessions I take - as they document a very short moment in time - Moments we give our all in. Moments that we often look back on with fuzzy memories thanks to exhaustion, hormones, and everything that comes with being a mama to a new baby.
Your sessions with me are designed to take the stress off of you. I have a full set of client closet dresses you can borrow from for your sessions and have everything needed for your newborn session once your sweet baby arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we purchase more photos than our package comes with?
Yes! I will send your gallery with all of your photos for you to choose from within three business days. You will choose your favorites and I will edit them within the turn around time specified below. If you would like to purchase more photos than your package comes with, additional downloads are $25 per photo or $200 for the entire gallery (Usually 75-100+ photos are delivered depending on the session)
How does the booking process work?
When you are ready to book, you can click BOOK NOW.
Maternity: I typically recommend booking around 20 weeks. Ideally, we will want your session to take place between 28 and 36 weeks. Once we have decided on a date, I will send you a booking link. There, you will agree to the terms and you will pay your session retainer fee to officially book your spot. You will then receive your guides and session questionnaire.
Newborn: We will go over your due date if baby is not here yet, or decide on a session date and time if they are, agree to the terms, and you will pay your session retainer fee to officially book your spot. You will then receive your guides and session questionnaire.
Please note, to be fair to all of my clients, I cannot hold a date without a session retainer and signed contract.
What about peeling skin/acne/scratches/etc.?
No problem! Almost ALL babies have some form of this - and it will all be addressed in my editing process unless you specifically request that it be left.
For other members of the session, I remove anything that is not a 'normal' part of your body - including blemishes and bruises.
What is your turn around time?
Your maternity session: You will receive your proof gallery to choose images from within 3 business days. Your chosen images will be edited and returned to you within 2 weeks of you choosing your images.
Newborn sessions take a little more editing than your typical portrait session. You will receive your proof gallery to choose images from within 3 business days. Your final images will be delivered within 3 weeks.
P.S. If you need your images quickly, you can add on rush service ($100) and receive your gallery within 7 business days!
What time of day will my session be?
Maternity sessions can take place any time of day. My favorite time for outdoor sessions is during golden hour, but that is not always doable depending on the season, especially if you have small children. Studio sessions can take place anytime during daylight hours.
My favorite time for your newborn session is in the morning or very early afternoon. After years of doing this, I've found that babies typically tolerate more earlier in the day.

From the moment you book to the moment you receive your images, my goal is to take the stress off of you. Maternity and Newborn sessions with me are laid back and relaxed - and full of connection.
During newborn sessions, We take our time to get beautiful photos of baby and of you all as a family, taking breaks when needed to keep baby calm and happy. During baby's photos, you are welcome to stay close and observe or have a seat and relax!
